The Spring came

You can feel it in the air. It is still rather cold but the daffodils are successfully fighting against strong freezing winds and their ridiculously radiant shade of yellow somehow makes me feel good wherever I see them.

That also means, the longer days are coming. Days with potentially great light. One can hope.

Last week, I had an opportunity to spend an hour just strolling with my camera. Something I haven't done in a long time. I potentially could, skipping a lunch break  for example, but I didn't. This round of lockdown got me good and crushed any wanting to explore.

Anyway, that one hour last week was rather horrible. Numb fingers, flat light (a term I learnt this week from a great friend of mine:), and dull views. I was glad it was over.

And yet, now when I think of that one hour, I am smiling.

And looking forward to more.

Less flat, perhaps:)
